Nic & Rachael Billman, along with their four children (Christian, Forrest, Leila and Cássia), are serving the Lord in Recife, Brazil, one of the worst cities in the world for child sex-trafficking. Nic and Rachael are the founders and directors of Shores of Grace Ministries, a missionary and worship ministry focused on rescuing and restoring women and children in prostitution, sexual slavery and abuse in Brazil where there is an estimated 1,500,000 children in prostitution.

Nic and Rachael attended the Global School of Supernatural Ministry and Nic is licensed through Global Awakening, a ministry led by Randy Clark. They lead a team of 12 adults and 7 children in Brazil and they feel their calling is to elevate other to their destiny. They hope that one day they will be on the very bottom of a huge pile of people who have stepped into their identity and destiny in the Father. They go the streets of Brazil with the love of the Father to bring transformation and restoration to the lives of the men, women and children on the streets. In July of 2012 they will be opening their first rescue home for young girls caught in sex-trafficking, then they will open a home for boys in January of 2013. They are also in the process of opening Graça Casa de Oração (Grace House of Prayer), a house of 24 hour intercession, worship and the arts in the poorest section of Recife.

In addition to these ministries Nic, Rachael and their team travel to churches all over Brazil training the body of Christ how to minister on the streets of their cities. Nic and Rachael have also released 8 worship albums and Nic has co-authored two books and is currently working on his own book titled “Compassion: The Fruit of Sonship”. Zach and Liz Lowrie are serving in Belgium as directors of the discipleship training school The Summons. The training school is aimed at mentoring young men and women to live with a mindset for God’s kingdom here on earth. This includes intimacy with their Creator, living together in community, and finding their purpose in life as it relates to what God is calling them to.

Along with the training school, Zach serves in the worship ministry of Renaissance with Allyster and Laetitia Taubeneck. Together they are making an original French worshipping expression proving to inspire young and old to write French worship. Zach is currently utilizing his training in the mental health profession and is counseling individuals and families.

They have 3 wonderful boys who are all enjoying French life and proving to be little God pleasers as they engage in conversation with complete strangers.

If you missed the first edition of Missionary Monday, we introduced you to the Johnson family and their amazing work with children in the Texas Foster Care system.

At the end of the post, I mentioned that along side their prayer needs, the Johnson’s had a financial need. They are needing to purchase a larger van (15 passenger) to accommodate their growing family and their ministry outreaches.

I’m so happy to say that with a starting need of $5,000 we were able to raise all but $1,550!

Well, I’m believing God for the rest of that money to come in THIS WEEK and I wanted to give you all a chance to pray and give to this great families need if the Lord leads you.

THE JOHNSON FAMILY – REACHING AMERICA’S FORGOTTEN CHILDREN

Today, there are 400,000 children in the U.S. foster care system that needs a family. Every year, 30,000 “age out.” They are suddenly on their own. 80% of foster children go into prison, prostitution or become homeless within four years after aging out because they have no family to love and care for them.

Brian and Wendy Johnson, along with their seven children and one foster son whom they met while ministering at the shelters, are advocates for these forgotten American children.  Every week through their local outreach, Abba Justice, they lead multiple outreaches to minister life to children in foster care shelters, juvenile detention centers and residential treatment centers.
